On Friday afternoon, we celebrated the year that was at TTO Chartered Accountants with our clients, family and friends, giving our expanding team the opportunity to meet our wonderful clients. It was a great day celebrating our achievements this year and looking ahead to 2019 over a drink with the remarkable people we are lucky to work with.

My father Ray and I have absolutely loved the trial and tribulation of setting up our own accounting firm, though not without our fair share of tears along the way. It’s been an interesting journey and, reflecting on this year, we are immensely proud of what we’ve achieved; from creating a beautiful work space to building a great team who feel like family. Right from the outset, we have pushed ourselves to ensure our clients receive the best service and our focus is on forging great relationships.
One of the ways we’re doing this is by hosting the TTO Talk series, consisting of bimonthly events which give the opportunity for our staff and clients to learn from leaders in their respective industries on various topics. Our inaugural TTO Talk, held in September, welcomed Midsec Financial Advisors who presented The 10 Commandments of Investing and, earlier this month, we invited Crawford Legal to present Understanding Your Will and Succession Planning. We have also started running regular MYOB training sessions to ensure our clients get the most out of their accounting software and keep up to date on all the latest changes and software developments.
As the year comes to a close we wish you and your families a safe and Merry Christmas. Thank you for your support, and we look forward to working with you and seeing you at one of our events in the New Year.
